18/365 We belong

Today I celebrated my birthday at Epcot with my family and had a wonderful time. At the end of the evening, we gathered around to watch the fireworks and Illuminations show. As the music played, I misheard the lyrics.

I heard "We belong..." and it got me thinking of the blog. (Footnote, the correct lyrics are "We go on" and you'll see those in a blog in the near future). 

As I was thinking of the blog and those words, I got to thinking that that is exactly what having faith and being a part of a congregation is. Belonging. It's about being around people who are like minded and care about you. 

At least, it's supposed to be.
