I should have realized then and there that delaying was going to be a habit.
Even when I asked after the camp was over about it, I got brushed off. I was told we'd figure it out later.
For the record, we were getting ready to jump into a new camp. At this camp, I had no intern responsibilities, just there as a counselor. But still, there was work to be done.
I wish I could say that was the only down side of camp, but it wasn't. There were other indicators that things were not right.
